Magigoo PP is designed for professional use and works exclusively with polypropylene filaments. The part is relatively easy to remove once it has cooled, and the adhesive residue is also easy to clean away if the recommended procedure is followed.
Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic semi-crystalline polymer known for its good impact resistance and ductility. It has a relatively non-polar molecular structure, making it chemically resistant and ideal for applications such as food packaging and medical devices.
In the adhesive industry, polyolefin materials are notorious for being difficult to bond to other types of materials. This characteristic, combined with its partial crystallinity, makes polypropylene a particularly challenging material for 3D printing. Magigoo PP solves this problem, providing reliable bed adhesion and increased ease of use for FDM 3D printing.
Do not press the bottle too hard when applying the adhesive to the print bed.
