Magigoo PA is designed for professional use, exclusively for use with polyamide (nylon) filaments. The printed part is relatively easy to remove after cooling, and any adhesive residue is also easy to clean away.
Polyamide (PA) describes a group of polymers with an amide repeat unit. In the FDM industry, there are three main types of nylon: PA12, PA66, and PA6. Sometimes these materials are grafted with other polymers or reinforced with glass and carbon fibres.
Nylons generally exhibit high strength, toughness, elasticity, and resistance to abrasion, chemicals, and heat, making them ideal for various industrial applications. However, nylon filaments are challenging for FDM printing due to their poor adhesion to conventional 3D print beds and a high tendency to warp. Additionally, different PA formulations can behave quite differently during the printing process.
Magigoo PA is a specialised solution for FDM printing, designed to provide a reliable adhesive base for a wide range of nylon filament types.
Do not press the bottle too hard when applying the adhesive to the print bed.
