The print head cable is the primary data and power umbilical for the UltiMaker S-series printers. This multi-strand cable facilitates the complex communication between the print head's internal PCB and the printer's main electronics board. It carries critical signals for the dual-extrusion system, including temperature data from the PT100 sensors, fan speed control, and the capacitive signals required for the active levelling process.
