Description

Polymaker Industrial PolyMax™ PC-FR

This product will not be restocked once sold out.

PolyMax™ PC-FR is a flame-retardant Polycarbonate (PC) filament (UL94V-0/1.5 mm) engineered to provide a superior combination of toughness, strength, and heat resistance. This high-performance material opens new possibilities in demanding industries such as automotive, railway, and aerospace.

As part of the PolyMax™ family, this filament is produced using Polymaker's Nano-reinforcement technology. This advanced formulation significantly enhances the material's mechanical properties and print quality, particularly improving toughness by increasing its impact resistance. Note: This is a clearance item (Op = Op)—it will not be replenished once sold out.

Key Features:

  • Flame Retardant: Certified UL94-V0 (1.5 mm), making it ideal for safety-critical industrial applications.
  • Nano-Reinforcement Technology: Delivers exceptional mechanical strength and industrial-grade toughness.
  • High Thermal Stability: Excellent resistance to elevated temperatures, suitable for functional components.
  • Industrial Grade: Specifically designed for the rigorous demands of the automotive and aerospace sectors.

Specifications:

  • Material: Flame Retardant Polycarbonate
  • Nozzle Temperature: 250°C – 270°C
  • Print Speed: 30 – 50 mm/s
  • Bed Temperature: 90°C – 105°C
  • Chamber Temperature: Highly recommended (90°C – 100°C)
  • Cooling Fan: OFF
  • Young's Modulus: 2634 ± 182 MPa
  • Tensile Strength: 67 ± 4.5 MPa
  • Impact Strength: 11.7 ± 1.3 kJ/m²
  • Vicat Softening Temp: 116°C
  • Drying Settings: 80°C for 8 hours

Best Practice Tip:

For the best results, it is highly recommended to print in a heated chamber. If a heated chamber is not available, it is advised to anneal the printed object at 90°C for 2 hours immediately after printing to remove internal stresses and improve dimensional stability.
