The print head cable set is the essential umbilical that provides power and data communication to the extrusion system. This comprehensive wiring loom includes the high-current heater cable, the sensitive PT100 temperature sensor lead, and the necessary wiring for the cooling fans. Because the print head is in constant motion, these cables are subject to repetitive stress and fatigue. If your printer exhibits fluctuating temperature readings, intermittent heater errors (ER01 or ER02), or if the fans stop spinning at certain positions on the build plate, the internal conductors of the umbilical may be fractured.
