The Formlabs Colour Kit is the first integrated colour mixing solution for resin, opening a full spectrum of possibilities for your SLA 3D printer. This kit enables users to create their own custom colours, allowing for the production of uniformly coloured prints with a smooth, professional finish directly from the printer—eliminating the need for manual sanding, painting, or finishing.

Compatible with both the Form 2 and Form 3 ecosystems, the Colour Kit ensures that your prototypes and concept models achieve the highest level of consistent colour and detail. Because the pigment is integrated throughout the resin, the resulting parts are significantly more resistant to wear and tear compared to surface-painted models.

How the Colour Kit works

Each Colour Kit provides the essential tools to create a custom resin palette. The process is straightforward and repeatable:

• Select your recipe: choose from 16 pre-tested formulations in the included recipe book or use the online Colour Picker to personalise your own shade.
• Measure pigments: use the provided syringes to accurately measure the required volumes of cyan, magenta, yellow, black, and white pigments.
• Inject and mix: add the pigments into the 800 ml Colour Base cartridge and shake thoroughly to ensure a homogeneous mixture.
• Standard workflow: insert the cartridge into your Form 2 or Form 3 printer and print as you would with any other standard resin.

• 5x Colour pigments (115 ml each: cyan, magenta, yellow, black, and white)
