Formlabs Flame Retardant Resin (Form 4) 1 L

Flame Retardant Resin is a specialty UL 94 Blue Card certified material designed for the production of self-extinguishing and halogen-free parts. This resin offers excellent flame, smoke, and toxicity (FST) ratings, making it a reliable choice for long-term use in indoor and industrial environments with high temperatures or potential ignition sources.

This 1-litre cartridge is optimised for the Form 4 ecosystem, delivering stiff, heat-resistant, and creep-resistant components with an exceptional surface finish that rivals injection moulding. It provides the design freedom of 3D printing while meeting strict safety certifications for regulated industries.

Post-processing

Washing

The foundational step in any SLA post-processing workflow is to remove any excess resin on the surface of the parts through an alcohol or ether wash.

Curing

Post-curing engineering and specialty resins is essential for parts to achieve their full strength and functionality. This step completes the chemical reaction initiated during printing, transforming the part from its green state into a fully finished component.
