Clear Resin v5 is an exceptionally transparent and colour-neutral 3D printing material, offering an optimal balance of fast print speed, high accuracy, and strong mechanical properties. It creates highly transparent parts that can be polished to near-optical transparency, rivaling the appearance of acrylic. This new formulation leverages the Form 4 ecosystem to print three times faster than previous versions while offering improved clarity and colour.

Post-processing

Washing

The foundational step in any SLA post-processing workflow is to remove any excess resin on the surface of the parts through an alcohol or ether wash.

Curing

Post-curing for general-purpose resins is optional; however, Formlabs recommends a short post-cure to reduce surface tack and improve mechanical properties. Proper curing also helps achieve the best possible clarity over time.
