Formlabs BioMed Clear Resin (Form 4) 1 L

BioMed Clear Resin is a transparent, hard, and wear-resistant 3D printing material designed for biocompatible applications. This USP Class VI certified material is suitable for pharmaceutical and drug delivery applications requiring long-term skin contact (>30 days), breathing gas pathways, and mucosal membrane contact (>30 hours). It is manufactured in an FDA-registered, ISO 13485 certified facility and is supported with an FDA Device Master File.

BioMed Clear Resin is a USP Class VI certified material. To maintain its biocompatible properties and safety standards, parts must be post-processed according to the official manufacturing guide, including validated wash cycles and mandatory post-curing.

Washing

BioMed Clear Resin may be washed using either a Formlabs-validated wash unit or an ultrasonic wash unit.

The foundational step in any SLA post-processing workflow is to remove excess resin on the surface of the parts through an alcohol wash. Please refer to the material's manufacturing guide/IFU for washing instructions.

Curing

For biocompatible materials, post-curing is necessary to achieve the safety standards determined by regulatory agencies. Please follow the material’s manufacturing guide/IFU for proper post-processing.
