The 70-234572 front fan bracket assembly is a critical multi-functional module specifically designed for the UltiMaker S7's inductive levelling system. This factory-assembled unit does more than just house the cooling hardware; it integrates the high-precision inductive sensor flex PCBA, which is responsible for the S7's signature Z-axis probe accuracy. By combining the axial cooling fan, the inductive sensor, and the nozzle seal into a single calibrated assembly, UltiMaker ensures that the printer maintains perfect thermal management and sub-micron levelling precision.
Replacing the entire bracket assembly is the recommended solution if you experience "Sensor Error" messages during the homing sequence, or if the physical housing has been damaged by a filament leak. Because the inductive sensor is extremely sensitive to positioning, this pre-assembled kit eliminates the risk of manual alignment errors. It also includes the quad-magnet front fan cover and the nozzle seal, which prevents air leakage and ensures that cooling is directed precisely at the heat sink and not the heater block.
This assembly is designed exclusively for the following inductive-levelling model:
Note: This part is NOT compatible with the UltiMaker S3, S5, or UM3, as those models utilise a capacitive sensing system with different electrical pinouts.
