Engineered for superior flexibility

PolyFlex™ TPU90, developed from Covestro’s Addigy® family, is a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) filament designed to deliver outstanding flexibility without sacrificing printing speed.

Ultra-soft shore hardness

With a shore hardness of just 90A, PolyFlex™ TPU90 is exceptionally soft and highly flexible, making it ideal for applications that require a gentle touch and high elasticity.

Optimised for direct extruders

Due to its very soft nature, a direct drive extruder is recommended to ensure smooth and reliable printing, minimising the risk of filament jams or feeding issues.

Perfect for soft, functional parts

Choose PolyFlex™ TPU90 for projects like phone cases, watch straps, or any part that demands softness, flexibility, and comfort.

Printing requirements

Direct extruder with a gear ratio mechanical advantage required.
Will be very difficult to print with a small nozzle diameter.
Ensure your printer is not set up as a bowden system; any large gap between your extruder and hotend will cause printing issues.
For stock, older style printers, we recommend printing very slowly.
