Formlabs Resin Tank LT (Form 2)

The Resin Tank LT is a long-lifetime resin tank designed for the Formlabs Form 2 ecosystem. It is engineered for high-volume printing environments and demanding materials, offering a longer service life and improved durability compared to the standard Form 2 resin tank. Its robust film construction helps maintain consistent optical performance during extended production use.

For several high-performance Formlabs engineering resins, the Resin Tank LT is required or strongly recommended to ensure reliable print results and dimensional accuracy. For many standard resins, the LT tank can provide significantly longer lifetime than a standard tank, making it a cost-effective option for production labs and frequent users.

Material compatibility

The Resin Tank LT is compatible with a wide range of Formlabs materials and is particularly suited for engineering and high-performance resins.

• Required: Tough 2000, Tough 1500, Grey Pro, Rigid, Elastic 50A. New tank recommended for every 1-2 L of resin.
• Recommended: Castable Wax, Denture Base, Denture Teeth.
• Compatible: Standard Resins, Dental Resins, Durable, Tough, High Temp, Flexible, Castable. Offers at least two times longer lifetime than the standard resin tank when printing with these resins.
• Not compatible: Ceramic.

Maintenance and usage

• Tank care: inspect the film regularly for clouding, scratches, or wear that could affect print quality.
• Storage: store the tank with the lid attached and keep it in its original box when not in use to protect it from dust and light exposure.
• Cleaning: only clean the internal film gently using approved tools or a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid sharp tools or aggressive solvents that could damage the surface.

Note: This resin tank is only compatible with the Formlabs Form 2 resin printer.
