Clear Resin is an exceptionally transparent and colour-neutral 3D printing material, specifically engineered to take full advantage of the Form 4 ecosystem. It offers an optimal balance of fast printing speed, high accuracy, and strong mechanical properties. This resin creates stiff and strong parts with a smooth surface finish that rivals acrylic and can be polished to near-optical transparency.

Clear Resin v5 is a new material formulation that leverages the Form 4 ecosystem to print three times faster than previous versions, while offering improved clarity, colour, and toughness. This high-volume 5l container is ideal for industrial workflows and high-throughput production, significantly reducing the need for cartridge changes.

Post-processing

Washing

The foundational step in any resin printer post-processing workflow is to remove any excess resin on the surface of the parts through an alcohol or ether wash.

Curing

Post-curing for general-purpose resins is optional. However, Formlabs recommends a short post-cure to reduce surface tack and improve mechanical properties.
