Acoustic dampening clips for high-speed Bowden tube stability

The Bowden damper set is a specialised noise-reduction and stability solution designed to manage the mechanical harmonics of the UltiMaker S8. As the S8 operates at significantly higher print speeds and accelerations thanks to its Cheetah motion planner, the Bowden tubes are subject to increased vibration and rapid lateral movement. These precision-moulded rubber clips fit inside the Bowden dampers to securely guide the tubes, preventing them from vibrating or "rattling" against the printer's internal frame and dampers during high-velocity gantry movements.

While primarily a solution for acoustic comfort, these dampers also play a role in maintaining the structural integrity of the filament path. By absorbing the kinetic energy of the moving Bowden tubes, they reduce the mechanical stress on the feeder collets and print head couplings. If your printer has developed a rhythmic tapping or rattling sound during rapid infill or travel moves, these rubber inserts may be missing or worn. This set restores the silent, professional operation expected of the UltiMaker industrial platform.
