3D&I (3D Printing Winkel) becomes MakerMondo

Since we first started selling 3D printers and filament materials in 2015, a lot has changed for us. What began as 3D&I, also known as 3D Printing Winkel at 3dprintingwinkel.be, has gradually grown into something much bigger: a complete destination for makers, creators, and creative professionals.

Over the years, we expanded far beyond 3D printing. Alongside our growing range of filament and resin 3D printers, we added technologies and tools for all kinds of creative workflows, including:

• 3D printers (filament or resin)
• 3D scanners
• CNC routers
• Cutting machines and heat presses
• Laser cutters and laser engravers
• Sewing machines and embroidery machines
• Tufting products
• Vacuum formers
• and many other tools for makers and small businesses

Because of this evolution, we felt it was time for our name to evolve as well. That’s why, in April 2026, we changed our name from 3D&I / 3D Printing Winkel to MakerMondo.

Why we became MakerMondo

While 3D printing is still an important part of what we do, our mission has grown beyond a single technology. Today, we support makers working across many different creative fields from digital fabrication and prototyping to textiles, crafting, cosplay, packaging, and personalised production.

The name MakerMondo reflects that broader vision. We wanted a name that represents creativity in all its forms and the growing community of people using modern tools to turn ideas into reality.

Same team, same expertise

Although our name has changed, we are still the same team with the same passion for helping makers find the right tools and solutions.

Customers who knew us through 3D Printing Winkel or 3dprintingwinkel.be can still expect the same expert advice, hands-on support, and carefully selected products that helped us build our reputation in Belgium and the Benelux region.

Growing beyond Belgium

Alongside the rebrand, we also launched a brand-new multilingual website to better support customers across Europe.

From our base in Kontich, Belgium, we now aim to serve an even wider community of hobbyists, schools, designers, engineers, artists, and creative businesses looking for reliable maker technology and expert guidance.
