The UltiMaker Factor 4 and Factor 4 Plus are capable of reaching 340 °C using this UltiMaker HT print core. The UltiMaker HT core is an abrasion-resistant print core, similar to the CC print cores. The UltiMaker HT core uses a copper heater block instead of an aluminium heater block, allowing print temperatures up to 340 °C.
The UltiMaker HT core is officially compatible with UltiMaker PPS CF and UltiMaker PET CF filaments. The UltiMaker HT core can also be used in combination with 3rd party materials, such as Kimya PEKK and high temperature composite materials, such as carbon or glass fiber reinforced polymers.
Printing with HT cores works similar to other configurations. Make sure to regularly clean your print cores on the outside and on the inside with a hot and cold pull. Keeping the outside of the nozzle clean ensures a longer lifetime of the silicon nozzle cover.
