Formlabs Rigid 4000 Resin is a glass-filled material designed for engineering-grade prototypes that require high stiffness and a smooth, polished appearance. By incorporating glass reinforcement, this resin achieves a tensile modulus of 4.1 GPa, offering mechanical properties similar to PEEK and PEKK thermoplastics. It is specifically engineered to resist deformation under significant loads, torques, and pressures, making it a premier choice for industrial parts that must remain rigid without bending.

Post-processing

Washing

Remove excess resin using the Form Wash or Form Wash L with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) for 15 minutes.

Curing

To achieve stated mechanical properties, post-curing is required. Cure in the Form Cure for 15 minutes at 80 °C.
