Description

Makerfill is a high-quality filament. Easy printing, easy price! The HIPS Filament is suitable for all 3D printers that can print with universal filament spools. Outside the world of 3D printing, HIPS is already well-established. Polystyrene is one of the most widely used thermoplastic polymers in the world. HIPS is a thermoplastic polymer and impact-resistant material that is highly suitable for prototype housings of consumer electronics and panels of industrial machines where UV-resistant materials are not required. Another major advantage is the excellent post-processing capabilities such as gluing, painting, sanding, and even sandblasting. HIPS is comparable to ABS thermoplastic filament in terms of impact strength and stiffness. However, HIPS dissolves completely in D-limonene, allowing HIPS to be used not only as a main filament but also as a support filament.
