Formlabs Resin Washing Solution is a non-flammable, low-odour cleaning solution designed to remove liquid resin from 3D printed parts. It performs as effectively as Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) but can dissolve nearly twice as much resin before becoming saturated. This significantly reduces the frequency of solution replenishment and lowers the cost per washed part, providing a safer and more efficient workflow for any workspace.

This 5-litre container is optimised for use with the Formlabs post-processing ecosystem, including the Form Wash (2nd Generation) and Form Wash L. It is compatible with most non-biocompatible Formlabs resins across the Form 3 and Form 4 series, offering a stable and reliable cleaning method with minimal evaporation loss.

Recommended workflow:

To achieve the best results with Resin Washing Solution, follow this validated four-step process:

• Step 1: Wash: clean parts in the Form Wash or Form Wash L according to specific material recommendations.
• Step 2: Water soak: submerge parts in water for 30–60 seconds within 8 hours of washing to prevent part swelling.
• Step 3: Drying: air dry for 4–6 hours, use a fan for 30–120 minutes, or use compressed air for 30–60 seconds.
• Step 4: Curing: post-cure the parts in a Form Cure or Form Cure L according to the resin’s technical requirements.

Compatibility notes:

• Compatible resins: most general-purpose and engineering resins, including Tough, Durable, Rigid, Grey Pro, and High Temp families.
• Incompatible resins: do not use with Flexible or Elastic resins, or materials requiring validated biocompatible workflows (e.g., BioMed, Flame Retardant).
