Draft Resin v2 is the fastest-printing material in the Formlabs library, designed to print up to four times faster than general-purpose resins. It is the ideal choice for initial prototypes, rapid design iterations, and high-throughput applications. Parts printed in Draft Resin exhibit a smooth grey finish and high dimensional accuracy, allowing you to bring products to market faster.

This 1-litre cartridge offers a 33% reduction in layer thickness compared to the original version for improved surface finish.
Note: Draft Resin is compatible with Form 3 and Form 2 Series printers. Form 4 users should choose Fast Model resin for three times faster print speeds and improved mechanical properties.

Post-processing

Washing

The foundational step in any SLA post-processing workflow is to remove any excess resin on the surface of the parts through an alcohol or ether wash.

Curing

Post-curing for general-purpose resins like Draft Resin is optional. However, a short post-cure is recommended to reduce surface tack and improve the mechanical stability of the model.
