This privacy policy describes the manner in which we (3D&I BV) processes your personal data.

We attach great importance to your right to privacy and make every effort to protect your personal data in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and the national implementing legislation.

The purpose of this privacy policy is to describe 

  • which personal data we collect from you, 
  • for which purposes we process this data, 
  • on which legal basis we rely for such processing, 
  • to whom your personal data may be disclosed, 
  • how long we retain your data, 
  • how we protect your data, and 
  • what rights you have in relation to the processing of your personal data.

1. Who are we?

We are 3D&I, a private limited company (besloten vennootschap), with registered seat at Herman De Nayerstraat 1, 2550 Kontich and enterprise number 0676.411.583 (hereinafter: "we"; "3D&I", or "Distribold”). 3D&I has an establishment unit “3D&I - FLUX - Distribold” with number 2.268.476.543. We offer premium distribution services for innovative brands under the names: 3D&I - MakerMondo - Distribold - Atomstack Europe - Clawlab Europe - MYYARDTech Europe - LOKLiK Europe - PooLin Europe - FLUX Europe.

2. From whom do we collect personal data?

In the context of our activities, we may collect personal data from clients, potential clients and their employees, from visitors to our website, from individuals who subscribe to our electronic mailings, from individuals who provide us with their business card or otherwise share their contact details with us, from individuals who contact us by email or through other means, and from job applicants.

3. Which personal data do we process?

We may collect the following personal data from you to the extent that such data is relevant for the purposes for which we need them, as set out below. 

3D&I processes the following categories of your personal data as a natural person which it obtains directly from you from various sources in the course of providing our services, including our platform and applications, websites related to 3D&I as seen here, email and other correspondence, third-party partners, and publicly available sources:

  • Identity and account information: name, title, date of birth, gender, username, password, account ID, and other information required to create and manage your account.
  • Contact details: email address, phone number, postal address, and other information used to communicate with you and deliver services or products.
  • Order and transaction information: details of orders you place, including products or services purchased, payment information, invoices, and transaction history.
  • Interaction data: information about how you use our platform, website, or applications, including browsing behavior, clicks, and engagement with marketing campaigns.

  • Customer and supplier management data: data related to your interactions with us as a customer or, if applicable, as a supplier or business partner.
  • Compliance and legal data: information required to comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Security and fraud prevention data: IP address, device information, login attempts, and other data necessary to ensure the security of our platform and protect against fraud or other unlawful activity.

Optional data: Where certain personal data is optional, we will make it clear that providing such information is voluntary, allowing you to choose whether or not to share it with us.

This Privacy Statement does not apply to the processing of anonymous or company data.

4. Why do we process your data?

We will use the information you provide for the following purposes:

  • Account management: to create and manage your user account on makermondo.com, including verifying your identity, providing access to the platform, and maintaining your account information.
  • Order processing: to process and fulfil your orders, including acceptance and handling of the order, payment processing, monitoring solvency, delivery of products or services, and handling returns or complaints.
  • Communication: to communicate with you regarding your account, orders, updates, promotions, or other information relevant to your use of our platform, in accordance with your communication preferences.
  • Supplier and customer management: to manage relationships with our suppliers and customers.
  • Compliance and legal obligations: to comply with applicable laws and regulations, including accounting, tax, and consumer protection requirements.
  • Platform improvement and analytics: to analyse how users interact with the platform, improve our services, and ensure security, functionality, and quality.
  • Research and statistics: on the basis of justified legitimate interests, we process personal data to analyse which products and services interest our customers, how our website and applications are used, to optimise the customer experience, and to improve the services and products offered by 3D&I. The provision of your personal data for this purpose is not strictly necessary and can be avoided by objecting
  • Marketing: after explicit consent, to send newsletters and possible advertising messages, including information about the development of our website and (special) offers or promotions. You can unsubscribe from such communications at any time via our website or through the unsubscribe option included in such communications.

5. On what basis do we process these data? 

We will process the data you provide us with for the above purposes because:

  • Contractual necessity: it is necessary to carry out a contract to which you are a party;
  • Legal obligations: to comply with laws and regulations.
  • Legitimate interests: we have a justified, legitimate interest in doing so, and in particular data processing is part of the normal operations of 3D&I, taking great care to process only those data that are strictly necessary for the purpose for which it is processing them; and
  • Consent: we have your permission for this.

6. To whom do we pass on your data?

3D&I, does not transmit personal data except as described below. We may share your personal data with:

  • External service providers: service providers who perform services on our behalf, strictly according to our instructions. This includes, for example, partners such as IT service providers, PR/marketing agencies, logistics partners, and manufacturers.
  • Professional advisors: such as external accountants, auditors, lawyers, or other professional consultants who provide services to support our business operations.
  • Third parties involved in providing our services: 3D&I will not sell your personal information to third parties and will only make it available to third parties that are involved in providing your order such as transport partners, customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, subcontractors, and their staff. Our employees and third parties engaged by us are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data.
  • Authorities: if the government carries out an investigation, we may share your personal information with the government if required by law. We may also disclose your personal information when absolutely necessary to prevent, detect or prosecute criminal activity.

Note: This list is not exhaustive. There may be other situations where we need to share personal data with third parties to provide our services as effectively as possible.

We reserve the right to transfer any personal information we hold about you if we sell or transfer all or part of our business or assets. Should such a sale or transfer take place, we will use reasonable efforts to persuade the acquirer to use the personal information you have provided to us in a manner consistent with our Privacy Policy. 

7. Protection of your personal data

3D&I recognises the importance of protecting your personal data and takes sufficient technical and organisational precautions to protect these data as comprehensively as possible against loss, theft, misuse and unauthorised access. 

3D&I, for example, has built in some safeguards. Certain data are protected by encryption when exchanged between your web browser and/or mobile application and 3D&I. Security issues are regularly monitored.

8. How long do we keep your data? 

3D&I will retain your personal data for no longer than necessary for the stated purpose, taking into account our need to answer questions and resolve problems, to improve services and offer new services, and to comply with legal requirements.

This means that we can keep your personal data for a maximum period of 10 years after your last cooperation with 3D&I. When the personal data we collect is no longer required, we will destroy or delete it in a secure manner. 

9. What rights do you have? 

Within the limits defined in Articles 15-22 of the GDPR, you have (amongst others) the following statutory rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: you have the right to obtain confirmation from us as to whether or not we are processing your personal data, to access that personal data and understand how and why it is being processed, and to receive a copy of that data.
  • Right to rectification: you have the right to obtain correction of your personal data or to request that we complete your personal data if you notice that we are processing inaccurate or incomplete information about you.
  • Right to erasure: in certain specific cases, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data, including on social media.
  • Right to restriction of processing: in certain specific cases, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.
  • Right to object to direct marketing: you also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes. This right is absolute, and we will always comply with it.
  • Right to data portability: you have the right to obtain the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to transfer that personal data to another data controller.
  • Right to object: you have the right to object, for reasons relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data based on our legitimate interests.

You may send a request to [email protected] for access, correction, deletion, data transfer or limitation of your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data.

To ensure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask that you enclose a copy of your identity card with the request. In this copy, make your passport photo, MRZ ("machine readable zone", the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and national register number black. This is to protect your privacy. 3D&I is committed to responding as quickly as possible, but within 30 days, to your request.

This website may contain links to other websites. This Privacy Statement does not extend to your use of these websites. 3D&I is not responsible for the privacy statements of other websites, or the way in which they collect, store, use or distribute data.

Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer and that are used for direct marketing. The LOKLIK Europe website uses cookies to recognise you when you visit. Cookies enable us to collect information about the use of our services and to improve and adapt these to the wishes of our visitors. Our cookies provide information regarding personal identification. This data is also shared with our partners (Lightspeed, Yotpo, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager). You can set your browser so that you do not receive any cookies while shopping at makermondo.com.

If you have any questions about the Privacy Policy of the MakerMondo website, you can contact us. Our customer service will help you further if you need information about your data or if you want to change it. You can request and change your details yourself if you have created an account.
