Formlabs has replaced this legacy material with two high-performance alternatives designed to better simulate industrial thermoplastics. Depending on your project requirements, we recommend the following successors:

• Tough 2000 Resin: The direct successor for those seeking the strongest and stiffest parts. It simulates the properties of ABS plastic and is ideal for rigid prototypes, housings, and mechanical connectors.
• Tough 1500 Resin: Best for parts that need to bend and spring back quickly. It simulates Polypropylene (PP) and is perfect for snap-fits, living hinges, and prototypes undergoing repeated deflection.

Both resins are fully compatible with the Form 3, Form 3+, and Form 3L ecosystems.
